Studying the Humanities provides a broad range of knowledge and skills that can lead to a variety of employment opportunities. Humanities classes cultivate students’ oral and written communication, critical and analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

The mission of the Institute for Student Academic Enrichment (ISAE) is to provide a supportive environment for ISAE participants. ISAE is a Federal TRiO Title IV Grant Program designed to assist first generation, low-income, and disabled college students to excel in their college career.

Institutional Advancement is dedicated to furthering the mission and visibility of Mount Saint Mary’s University. The division includes Alumnae Relations, Individual and Institutional Giving, Communications & Marketing, University & External Events, Web Services, and Advancement Services.

Institutional Planning and Research serves Mount Saint Mary’s University by providing sound, action-oriented research in order to support institutional assessment, decision-making, and strategic planning. The office strives to provide consistent and accurate information that will help decision-makers to act on behalf of students and the community to foster student success and institutional effectiveness.

The Language and Culture Department at Mount Saint Mary’s University offers majors, minors and certificate programs for students who want to improve their language skills.

Based on the Mount’s mission, the Department of Mathematics employs innovative methods of instruction, research and service that allows students to achieve their educational and career goals, while serving as socially responsible global citizens.

Mount Saint Mary’s University offers students the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Our baccalaureate degree program offers emphases in Music Education, Music Performance, Music Industry, Music History and Pre-Music Therapy.
