Campus Safety manages a centralized lost and found service for the entire University. Found items can be turned over to Campus Safety at the Campus Safety Kiosk at the Circle on Chalon campus and the Main Gate booth on Doheny campus. Items are logged and kept for the duration of the academic year. Items that present sanitation or biohazard risk (soiled) are immediately discarded. Data-sensitive materials are destroyed if unclaimed.

• If you have lost an item on campus, complete our form
  • If your item is found, Campus Safety will contact you to schedule a pick-up appointment
  • Valid photo ID required (e.g., 国产传媒 ID, state driver’s license or ID, official passport). Property will not be released to anyone without an ID

Campus Safety maintains emergency phones throughout campus to connect community members to Campus Safety with the press of a button. A blue light is located above these phones for easy identification.

If your car will not start, Campus Safety has courtesy portable jump starters available for use.

Campus Safety provides complimentary lock out assistance for faculty and staff, upon confirmation of access. Residents must contact Residence Life and Housing Services for lock out assistance.

Campus Safety provides safety and medical escorts for anyone who needs them and transportation escorts for anyone with a temporary mobility impairment. Please be advised that these services are not available for off-campus locations and wait times may vary based on call load.

Campus Safety offers a variety of training opportunities for the 国产传媒 community on a variety of preparedness and safety topics. Training, exercises and drills can be customized for your department or group needs.

Submit requests for campus event security at least two weeks prior to the date in order to allow sufficient planning and processing. A minimum charge of four hours will be assessed for each event. The event rate will be confirmed with our security vendor prior to confirming your request. Contact Campus Safety at campussafety@msmu.edu for any event security inquiries.
