Deepen your practice and understanding of your faith, whatever your religious tradition. Learn about others’ religions as well, respecting the diverse ways in which people seek God. People of all faiths and secular traditions are welcome.

Spiritual spaces

Reflection and prayer in nature

Our campuses have beautiful outdoor environments to enhance your Mount experience and contribute to your spiritual wellness and mental health.

Prayer and sacraments

Mass

The Mount community gathers to worship God and welcome each other at Catholic Masses on Sundays and special occasions. Everyone, of every faith, is welcome.

University Mass happens on most Sundays during the Fall and Spring when classes are in session. A light reception for snacks and conversation follows the Mass. With prior request, our visiting priests are available for Confession.

Liturgical ministries

Mass at the Mount is planned and guided by our students. Get involved through leadership in art and environment, hospitality, or by becoming a Eucharistic minister, lector, music minister or sacristan.

Prayer experiences

Interdenominational individual and community prayer is offered throughout the year, in response to tragedy or special need, to build community, and nourish the spiritual life.

Sacraments

Celebrate God’s presence as you grow in your spiritual life, or as you take important steps in your life journey. If you feel drawn to explore one or more of these sacraments, please email campusministry@msmu.edu.
