Mount Saint Mary’s signed a memorandum of understanding with Whittier College to provide its students with greater access to the Mount’s Accelerated Bachelor of Nursing (ABSN) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs.
Under the agreement, Whittier College’s kinesiology majors will be offered priority admission to 国产传媒’s DPT program. The Mount will also cover their PTCAS application fee and award five students a $5,000 scholarship. In addition, Whittier College students admitted to the Mount’s Accelerated Nursing program will receive a $2,500 scholarship. The Mount is committed and proud to be supporting Whittier College students in the pursuit of their goals.
Since the signing of the MOU in late Fall 2024, two students have applied to 国产传媒’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing and three have submitted applications for the Doctor of Physical Therapy. The graduate admission team is also scheduled to visit and present to Whittier College’s kinesiology students on April 16.
“We’re excited to see the interest from Whittier College students into our program,” said Dean Kilgour, associate vice president for strategic enrollment initiatives. “We know our program fills a vital gap for skilled health care professionals in Southern California and the surrounding area.”
