One of dozens of webinars for the Mount community, 鈥淟isten Like You Mean It: How to Be a Better Listener from the Boardroom to the Dinner Table,鈥 will have its live presentation on February 8 then be available to anyone visiting the alumnae website.

The webinars are recorded, allowing people to access them afterward at any time, even if they had not initially registered for the event. The longer workshops are not archived.

鈥淭he webinars are usually one hour long and cover a wide range of topics from leadership, work-life balance, communications and parenting,鈥 says Tom Arteaga, director of alumnae relations. 鈥淭he three-hour workshops take a deeper dive into subjects, and the facilitators provide insights and next steps that can have an immediate impact on the professional development and personal growth of our alumnae.鈥

Upcoming events include 鈥淗ow to Make an Empowered Ask to Achieve Success, Fulfillment and Peace of Mind on February 3, and 鈥淟isten Like You Mean It: How to Be a Better Listener from the Boardroom to the Dinner Table鈥 on February 8.

Resources Abound

Arteaga notes that the webinars and workshops are just one of the many resources offered to engage the community. 鈥淥ur online resource library has articles, podcasts, videos and book recommendations that focus on career advancement, professional development, and health and wellness,鈥 he says. 鈥淎lumnae can filter the resource library by work-life balance, recent grads, leadership, interviewing or career change categories to find the content that is most meaningful to them.鈥

Three to four new webinars and workshops are offered each month. Faculty, staff, students and alumnae can access webinars and the resource library here.
