Biography

Stephanie Cubba, DPA, is the vice president for institutional advancement and special assistant to the president at Mount Saint Mary’s University. During her decade-plus tenure as vice president, she has overseen a highly successful capital campaign and has provided ongoing leadership and planning for Mount Saint Mary’s institutional and individual giving teams, alumnae relations, communications and marketing, university & external events, and advancement services. Cubba was previously the director of the Women’s Leadership program and the Institutional Research and Student Outcomes Assessment at the Mount, and she served as a contributing author and editor of the University’s groundbreaking Report on the Status of Women and Girls in California™. She has also taught courses in sociology and leadership studies. 

Apart from the Mount, Cubba also served as vice president for institutional advancement for Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, senior market research director at Market Facts Inc., in Encino; and marketing manager and primary research specialist at TMP Worldwide. She has been a member of the West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.  

Cubba has a bachelor’s in law and society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a master’s in sociology from California State University of Los Angeles, and a doctorate in public administration from the University of La Verne.
