Biography
Professor Ickes is an Assistant Professor and Wellness Programming Coordinator at Mount Saint Mary’s University. She earned her MPT here at the Mount and Ph.D. in Health Sciences from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She is the owner of Evolve Integrative Wellness Physical Therapy and Pilates, specializing in Integrative Corrective Exercise, Performance/Dance Medicine, and Women’s Health. She serves as the Director for the Pilates and Wellness Pro Bono clinic on-site at 国产传媒 and the DPT Wellness Programming Coordinator. She has been practicing physical therapy since 1996 and is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS), Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), and IDEA Health & Fitness Association. She has authored numerous publications and presented internationally since 1996. Professor Ickes has developed education programs for fitness and healthcare professionals that bridge the gap between medical and movement science, creating opportunities for the ultimate continuum of care in any setting.
