Specialize your M.S. in Nursing degree

The Mount's MSN program offers advanced nursing degrees and empowers high-quality graduates who serve their communities in a highly demanding profession. Our recently re-designed accelerated and non-accelerated MSN program allows students to complete the Nurse Educator or Leadership & Administration track online in one or two years.

Classes for both specialty tracks are taught using an asynchronous approach, and each class will span eight weeks, with two 8-week sessions in each 16-week semester. This allows students to complete the program in six 8-week sessions over three semesters (i.e. one year) or six semesters (i.e. two years).

Nurse Educator

The Nurse Educator track provides students with skills and competencies in advanced nursing theory and practical experience as a nursing educator. Students master skills to develop strategies for curricular design, teaching, and the use of technology in various academic and clinical settings.

The concentration will provide graduates with competencies specified by the National League for Nursing (NLN) and the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) in advanced nursing theory and experience as a nursing educator. The Nurse Educator concentration is a 33-unit program that can be completed in one or two years.
