Biography
Kim is an arts educator/administrator, scholar, and organizer based in the Los Angeles area. Her work centers on how the arts shape our collective memories, give meaning to our histories, and help us imagine our futures. She has taught in the Asian American Studies, Asian Languages and Cultures, and Ethnomusicology departments at UCLA, the Music History department at Glendale Community College, and the Asian Languages and Literature department at University of Washington, Seattle. She is co-founder, Associate Director, and Resident Ethnomusicologist at and a founding member of the , a collective art project based at the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington DC. At 国产传媒, she is the administrative assistant for the Music Department, Political Science and History Department, and the Center for Global Initiatives.
