Traditional Transfer ScholarshipsWhen you apply for admission as a traditional transfer student, you're automatically considered for the Dean's Transfer Scholarship. And the best part? It's guaranteed* if you're admitted.

Le Puy Founders' Scholarship
Students who have at least a 3.7 cumulative GPA can be considered for our renewable, full-tuition Le Puy Scholarship. To be considered, applicants must:
- Apply for Fall admission by January 5th: Submit an additional essay (prompt and upload instructions provided upon application submission)
In January, finalists will be selected to participate in an interview day, as the selection of the Scholars includes an interview with a Mount Saint Mary’s University selection committee made up of faculty, staff and alumnae. Scholarship winners will be announced soon after the interview day.
Le Puy Founders' Scholarship essay prompt
The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, established in Le Puy, France in 1650, fostered leadership and service to their societies. These traditions are emulated in the teachings of Mount Saint Mary's University today. Please respond in 500 words or less: In what ways have you displayed leadership and/or made valuable contributions to your community? Explain how this involvement can equip you to make a meaningful impact at Mount Saint Mary’s University and align with the vision of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society members are eligible for the Mount's PTK Award.
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) recognizes the academic achievement of college students and provides opportunities for its members to grow as scholars and leaders. More than 3.5 million students have been inducted since 1918, with approximately 250,000 active members in the nation’s community colleges, making Phi Theta Kappa a true catalyst among members and colleges.
The PTK Award is automatically offered to member students and ranges from $2,000 for WEOC students and $4,000 for traditional transfer students.
Inclusive Excellence Leadership Scholars Program
One of the core values of Mount Saint Mary’s University is fostering a sense of belonging among our students, faculty, staff, and community. To this end, the Inclusive Excellence Leadership Program equips Mount students from various backgrounds with the knowledge, capacities and curiosities to affect positive social change on our campus and within the local community.
Inclusive Excellence Leadership Program is a year-long program for incoming first-year and traditional transfer undergraduate students at the Mount. The program is designed to support and develop students’ understanding in these areas. In addition to leadership opportunities and networking, Inclusive Excellence leaders receive a $1,500 stipend for the academic year (and renewable years based on program participation).

Dean's International Student Award
The Dean's International Student Award is awarded to first year and traditional transfer international (F-1) students at the time of admission. The award is for $20,000 annually and no separate application is required.
