Our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, trace their roots to Le Puy, France, where, in 1650, they joined together and devoted themselves to serve all persons without distinction and respond to the needs of the times. The University continues to advance and uphold their mission today. The Le Puy Founders' Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship that recognizes the highest levels of academic achievement and commitment to service in the spirit of our Founders.
