Stephanie Cubba, DPA
Vice President for Institutional Advancement
Stephanie Cubba, DPA, is the vice president for institutional advancement and special assistant to the president at Mount Saint Mary’s University. During her decade-plus tenure as vice president, she has overseen a highly successful capital campaign and has provided ongoing leadership and planning for Mount Saint Mary’s institutional and individual giving teams, alumnae relations, communications and marketing, university & external events, and advancement services. Cubba was previously the director of the Women’s Leadership program and the Institutional Research and Student Outcomes Assessment at the Mount, and she served as a contributing author and editor of the University’s groundbreaking Report on the Status of Women and Girls in California™. She has also taught courses in sociology and leadership studies.
Apart from the Mount, Cubba also served as vice president for institutional advancement for Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, senior market research director at Market Facts Inc., in Encino; and marketing manager and primary research specialist at TMP Worldwide. She has been a member of the West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
Cubba has a bachelor’s in law and society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a master’s in sociology from California State University of Los Angeles, and a doctorate in public administration from the University of La Verne.
Susan Dileno, MBA
Vice President for Enrollment Management
Susan Dileno, MBA, has been with Mount Saint Mary’s University since August of 2021. She oversees undergraduate, graduate and accelerated adult education enrollment, along with financial aid. Dileno’s experience working in highly competitive markets has helped her quickly implement several enrollment initiatives that have resulted in an increase in traditional undergraduate applications. She has also streamlined financial aid processes resulting in improved student service.
Dileno served most recently at Ursuline College, Ohio, where she was vice president for enrollment management. There, she implemented new technology to support enrollment efforts, oversaw its digital marketing campaign, created new financial aid strategies to help students graduate in four years, streamlined the university's process for evaluating credits from transfer students and spearheaded efforts to create new academic programs.
Her 30-plus years in higher education includes positions at Ohio Wesleyan University (Ohio) as vice president for enrollment management, Baldwin Wallace University (Ohio) as vice president for enrollment management, Hartwick College (New York) as dean of enrollment and Case Western Reserve University (Ohio) as director of undergraduate admission. Dileno has been a significant contributor to successes in building enrollment, college marketing efforts and deploying new technology to support enrollment growth.
She has been a frequent presenter at state, regional and national meetings on topics including strategic enrollment management, use of technology in recruitment, enrollment marketing and higher education leadership. Dileno is active in a number of professional organizations and has served on several committees and boards. She currently serves as a faculty member and advisor for the Institute for Strategic Enrollment Management.
Dileno earned a bachelor’s at Niagara University in Lewiston, New York, and a master’s of business administration (MBA) degree at Case Western Reserve University.
Krishauna Hines-Gaither, PhD
Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships
Krishauna Hines-Gaither, PhD, is the inaugural Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships at Mount Saint Mary’s University Los Angeles. At the start of 2022, she relocated from North Carolina to Los Angeles to assume her role. Hines-Gaither holds a bachelor’s degree from Salem College, a women's college in North Carolina, a master’s degree in Spanish education from Wake Forest University and a PhD in cultural studies from UNC-Greensboro.
For almost 20 years, Hines-Gaither was a college professor of Spanish; she also taught courses in Cultural Studies. She served as the first Director of Inclusiveness at Salem College. Thereafter, she served as the inaugural Associate Vice President overseeing Inclusive Excellence at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, and later as their Interim Vice President. At Guilford, she spearheaded many campus initiatives, increased strategic partnerships, and was appointed by the President to co-lead their campus efforts to increase enrollment. Her team's work received national awards.
Hines-Gaither is the owner of Hines-Gaither Consulting, LLC, which offers dynamic, engaging and results-driven consultation on a range of topics and across disciplines and business sectors. Her work for inclusion has been recognized locally and nationally. Honoring her commitment to inclusion, Hines-Gaither was named a Voice for Change by Spectrum News, Woman of the Year by the LA County Commission for Women and received the Trailblazer Hall of Fame award from the Black Women's Collective Empowerment Institute. She currently serves on the professional advisory committee for the Los Angeles Police Department.  She is the 2026 President of ACTFL, the first African American woman to lead the organization.
Joy E. Brathwaite, MBA, MSA
Vice President for Administration and Finance
Joy E. Brathwaite, MBA, MSA, is the vice president for Administration and Finance. In this role, she is responsible for providing leadership for the University’s finance, human resources, risk management, facilities, campus safety, and auxiliary services departments. Brathwaite joined the Mount in November 2023.
Previously, she spent three years as the Chief Financial Officer at The Museum of Contemporary Art, in Los Angeles.
During her over 20 years of leadership experience in higher education and the nonprofit sector, Brathwaite has served as the vice president of finance and business at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (Minnesota), North Central University (Minnesota) and Malone University (Ohio), where she led the financial planning and budget management of those institutions.
Brathwaite served as a member of the Higher Learning Commission Peer Review corps, is an alumna and worked as a visiting faculty member of the Higher Education Services Institute, and was part of the host committee for National Association of Colleges and University Business Officer’s (NACUBO) annual conference in Minneapolis. She was a team leader for re-accreditation, strategic planning, facility improvements and campus master planning, leveraging debt management and budgeting for long-term improvements in fiscal health.
Brathwaite volunteers on several regional and national boards and is passionate about talent identification and development through the transformational quality of higher education, especially in a context where individuals can learn with and from each other.
Brathwaite holds a BSc in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies, an MBA from Kent State University and an MSA from Central Michigan University. She will complete her certificate in Spiritual Direction at the Center for Spiritual Development, Sisters of St. Joseph, Orange in Summer 2024.
Linda McMurdock, PhD
Vice President for Student Affairs
Linda McMurdock, PhD, brings many years of experience serving students in higher education settings to her role at Mount Saint Mary’s University. She served as vice president of student affairs at Marymount University in Virginia, where she developed institutional programs for prevention of sexual violence and sex-based discrimination; the University Inclusive Excellence Initiative; and revamped the Career and Professional Development Services. McMurdock was also previously dean of students and vice president for student affairs at Loyola Marymount University, where she developed the Office of the Dean of Students; the Office of Student Affairs Assessment and Research; and mentored students in the Harvard Kennedy School Center for Public Leadership’s Latino Leadership Initiative Program. Having previously launched inclusive student initiatives and first-generation scholars programs, since her arrival at the Mount in the spring of 2020, McMurdock is once again garnering support for first-gen students with her ardent support of established programs such as ISAE, Student Ambassadors and Peer Wellness Advocates.
Some of her key initiatives at the Mount include launching Athenians Care, a health education campaign response to COVID-19, and championing the expansion of the Wellness Initiative beyond its original four tenants, bringing health, education and prevention under one umbrella and creating a new, refreshed campaign in tandem with work in the Enright Wellness Pavilion. McMurdock is also developing a full slate of military and veteran student services focusing on recruitment and engagement and expanding the services from Career and Professional Development.
Prior to her service in higher education, McMurdock enjoyed a career as a clinical psychologist. A firm believer in holistic approaches to human development, she supports transformative education that emphasizes the integration of the mind, body, and spirit.
McMurdock was awarded a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Howard University in Washington, DC.
Adam G. Weyhaupt, PhD
Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs

Adam G. Weyhaupt PhD joined Mount Saint Mary’s University in July 2025 as the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs. In this role, he is responsible for working collaboratively and creatively with staff and faculty across the university to implement a vision and strategy for Academic Affairs that supports academic excellence and student success.
Adam holds a BA and BS from Eastern Illinois University in mathematics and computer science and earned his MA and PhD in mathematics from Indiana University. His professional journey began at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he served as a faculty member, graduate program director, and department chair. In 2016, he joined Fontbonne University as Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences and was later named Provost and Executive Vice President.
Adam is passionate about teaching and has taught a wide range of courses, from preparatory mathematics to advanced graduate courses. As a researcher, his interests have varied to enable collaboration with students and colleagues, ranging from mathematical models of soap bubbles called “triply periodic minimal surfaces” to an application of voting theory in statistics. (Stop by his office at the Chalon or Doheny campuses and ask him about some of the mathematical books and objects in his office!)
Adam is an associate member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and is inspired by their brave efforts to love and serve God and the dear neighbor without distinction. He and his wife Julia hail from the Saint Louis, Missouri, area. They have two adult children: their youngest is a student-athlete at Cornell College in Iowa, and their oldest is a mechanic who has made them proud grandparents. Adam’s service in the community has included ScoutsBSA (formerly Boy Scouts of America) and Rotary International.
