Social Climate, Leadership and Instructional Services (SCLIS) has released a set of resources developed to help teachers deconstruct the 2012 English Language Development (ELD) Standards into understandable, teachable language targets and assess and track student progress. We introduced them to many teachers and administrators at our Summit for Educating Long-Term English Learners and Newcomers. The resources consist of two parts&#58; Deconstructing the ELD Standards tool and ELD Standards Assessment Charts.
